Your mission
Your profile
The role will be responsible for:
- Ongoing due diligence of various alternative investment managers as well as sourcing and conducting detailed due diligence of managers for inclusion in the funds managed by Abbey Capital
- preparation of detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis for the Investment Committee producing ongoing analysis of manager performance
- conducting monthly manager calls and regular manager meetings assisting in preparing detailed client reports
- 4+ years financial markets experience required
- Highly numerate academic background, preferably an advanced degree in finance or another quantitative discipline
- Knowledge of trading, risk and portfolio management concepts is a distinct advantage
- Very high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of quantitative/statistical programming languages (Python, Matlab, R etc.) desirable
